Meet Maureen Higdon

Meet Maureen Higdon, a dedicated member of the Ladies for Literacy Guild, whose Guild journey began about six years ago after being inspired by friends and Guild members like Betty Hrncir, Lilly Andress, and Ginger Blanton. Their unwavering commitment and the positive word-of-mouth within the Guild community captured Higdon's attention, along with a deep admiration for the late Barbara Bush and her tireless dedication to literacy.

What people are saying…

“To continue the literacy legacy of Mrs. Bush has been such a joyful experience in my life, and to see a child's world change through the power of literacy is a gift and a blessing for which I am so grateful.”
